Release
Shotnix 0.26.2-beta
Changed
- Recordings are up to 10 times smaller, with the same picture. Shotnix now lets the encoder decide how much each frame needs instead of spending a fixed bitrate: a still screen costs almost nothing, text stays sharp, and a playing video gets what it needs. A minute of scrolling text on a Retina screen went from 392 MB to 48 MB, dragged windows are about 40% smaller, and videos playing on screen keep their size and look. Balanced, High, and Max still choose how close to the screen it stays.
- The “Made with Shotnix” end card is off unless you switch it on. It used to be on for every export, and its only switch was in the Export window. Switch it on there if you'd like it.
